Monogram: ALS

We were thinking about a playful monogram to celebrate the last of summer - something watery, beachy, sunny, relaxing.

We began with the last initial S from the Ripple Monogram Set. To give it a bit more atmosphere we added the first initial A on the left, and the middle initial L on the right - both from the Bamboo Monogram Set.

The overall size is 3 1/2"" (89mm) tall by 4 5/8" (117mm) wide.

How we made these monograms

Embroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors.
