It Happened On 5th Avenue - 1947
Movie: It Happened On 5th Avenue - 1947
Director: Roy Del Ruth
Synopsis: Every year Michael J. O'Connor (Charles Ruggles), the second richest man in the world, closes up his 5th Avenue mansion and leaves for the winter. Aloysius T. McKeever (Victor Moore), a homeless man, moves in. This year he brings along Jim Bullock (Don DeFore), an ex-GI who has been evicted from his apartment in a building O'Connor is tearing down. They are unprepared when Trudy "Smith" (Gale Storm) - who is actually O'Connor's runaway teenage daughter - shows up. Other war buddies show up - and eventually both of Trudy's parents - recently divorced - posing as homeless people - all because Trudy is in love with Jim.
Scene: Trudy comes to retrieve some clothes. After McKeever and Bullock confront Trudy she faints. They revive her, and eventually offer her breakfast.
Monogram: This certainly looks like an interesting and unusual monogram, perhaps a clip on jeweled brooch. Initials TMS ? A very elaborate touch for a fake name.
