Synopsis: A feature film inspired by the cult soap opera. Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp) is a rich playboy in colonial Maine, having been brought to the new world twenty years earlier by his parents. He makes the mistake of spurning the advances of Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green) - who is a witch. She kills his parents and his sweetheart Josette DuPres (Bella Heathcote), turns him into a vampire, then has him chained in a coffin and buried - for what turns out to be 200 years. When he is finally released he sets off for Collinswood and the family estate to meet his modern family.
Scene: The estate has fallen into disrepair - Barnabas arrives at night (being a vampire) and pushes open the iron gate to the mansions entry drive.
Monogram: The iron gate has an ornamental C inside a circle with embellishments. The C, half the circle, and half the embellishments swing open with the right side.
