Synopsis: Sam "Ace" Rothstein (Robert De Niro) moves to Las Vegas to run the mob-owned Tangiers casino after developing a reputation as a successful sports gambling handicapper. To be sure they get their cut of the gambling profits each month, the mid-west Bosses send Ace's childhood friend Nicky Santoro (Joe Pesci) to keep an eye on things. Ace falls for Ginger (Sharon Stone), a hustler who works the casinos, while Nicky creates his own Las Vegas street empire. Everyone keeps an eye on eachother, and eventually the Feds keep an eye on everyone.
Scene: Ace and Ginger become increasingly distrustful of each other. One morning after breakfast they have a conversation about Trust.
Monogram: Ginger's terrycloth robe has her initials (GR) embroidered in white thread in an Old English style.
