Win Win - 2011

Movie: Win Win - 2011

Director: Thomas McCarthy

Synopsis: Financially strapped attourney Mike Flaherty (Paul Giamatti) is a volunteer high school wrestling coach. He agrees to become the guardian of an elderly client, Leo Poplar (Burt Young) who has a declining memory, because he thinks he can convince a judge that he will work to keep his client in his own home - but then decides to put him in an assisted living facility and pocket the support check. When Leo's estranged Grandson Kyle (Alex Shaffer) arrives unannounced the plot thickens and also now involves Kyle's mother Cindy (Melanie Lynskey) who can blow the whistle on the whole situation. Even more complicating is the discovery that Kyle is a star wrestler - now enrolled in the local high school while living with Mike and his family, and participating in the wrestling team's meets.

Scene: Mike wife Jackie (Amy Ryan) has a heart-to-heart talk with Kyle.

Monogram: Jackie rolls up the cuff of her jeans to show Kyle a three-letter script tatoo monogram - jbj - the initials of Jon Bon Jovi, iconic New Jersey rock band leader.
