Synopsis: Billionaire heir Richie Rich (Macauley Culkin) has everything he wants - except friends his own age. He must take over the family business, and thwart an internal coup from Laurance Van Dough (John Larroquette) when his parents' plane disappears. Luckily he has some new sandlot baseball friends, and his faithful butler Cadbury (Jonathan Hyde). Based on the Harvey Comics character. A treat for history buffs - interior and exterior shots filmed at the spectacular Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC.
Scene: In a movie about people with expensive tastes, there are ample opportunities to display the family monogram - R with another mirrored R - seen on everything from embroidered chairbacks and headboard tapestries to gilded sculptures and office decorations.
Monogram: The basic monogram appears in several variations. Top: the mirrored letters RR. Middle: the mirrored letters with a dollar sign between them, and a diamond above. Bottom: the mirrored letters with only the dollar sign.
