Live And Let Die - 1973

Movie: Live And Let Die - 1973

Director: Guy Hamilton

Synopsis: In this eighth installment of the James Bond saga, three British MI6 agents die mysteriously within 24 hours while monitoring the operations of Dr. Kananga, the dictator of a small Caribbean island called San Monique. James Bond (Roger Moore) is sent to New York City to investigate, where Kananga is visiting the UN. After his driver is killed while taking him to meet his CIA contact, Bond follows the killer, who leads him to Mr. Big (Yaphet Kotto), a Harlem crime boss and the owner of the Fillet of Soul restaurant chain. He will later learn that Mr. Big and Dr. Kananga are the same person.

Scene: M ( Bernard Lee), joined by Miss Moneypenny ( Lois Maxwell), visit Bond in the very early morning to give him his assignment.

Monogram: Bond's monogrammed robe, with JB on the pocket. A loop between the two initials gracefully connects them.
