Synopsis: James Bond (Pierce Brosnan - in his last Bond role) is betrayed in North Korea and captured. 14 months later he is freed in a prisoner exchange. Officially suspended as an 00 agent because MI 6 suspects that he may have leaked information under torture, he continues on his mission, evades surveillance, and heads for Cuba to track Zao (Rick Yune ) the agent he was traded for. He finds him in a gene therapy clinic on a private island - and crosses paths with Giacinta 'Jinx' Johnson (Halle Berry ) an NSA agent. Zao flees, leaving behind a cache of diamonds belong to British billionaire Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens). On to London, the Graves' private ice palace. Things blow up, etc. etc.
Scene: Examining the diamonds with a magnifier, Bond finds them to be identical to "conflict diamonds"
Monogram: An engraved GG logo, on one of the side facets, with one G reversed relative to the other - creating a diamond shape.
