Synopsis: Marty Bronson (Jonathan Price) raises his son and daughter alone, and has to sell the family motel to make ends meet. The new owner, wealthy Barry Nottingham (Richard Griffiths), promises to make young Marty the manager when he groes up. Years later, the motel is torn down to make way for a pricey highrise hotel, and Marty, aka "Skeeter" (Adam Sandler) isn't the manager - he's the handyman. Skeeter's life changes when the bedtime stories he tell his niece and nephew start to come true.
