Monogram: KPN

This monogram - large and small letters from two versions of our Diamond Monogram Set 4 - may seem obvious as a Combinations project, but sometimes simple is better.

In this situation we wanted to see if these two sizes were compatible - and think the result is quite successful. The last initial N, in the middle, is from the Diamond 4 XL Monogram Set, and done in a blue thread. It is flanked by the initials K and P, from the Diamond Monogram Set 4, and done in a pale salmon thread.

The overall size is 6 3/4" (171 mm) tall by 4 5/8" (119 mm) wide.

How we made these monograms

Embroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors.
